Partnerships
In Wisconsin, our partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association’s Wisconsin Chapter significantly extends our outreach and impact. The Wisconsin Chapter offers reliable information, care consultations, educational programs, supports dementia research funding, and leads advocacy efforts for public policy changes across the state. This collaboration helps us reach a wider audience and deepen the community’s understanding and support for Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
Internationally, we have established a strong presence in Pakistan, particularly in Gujranwala, where we have trained volunteers and conducted educational sessions in schools and villages. This initiative has evolved into a collaboration with Alzheimer’s Pakistan, a member of Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI). ADI is the international federation of Alzheimer and dementia associations worldwide, associated with the World Health Organization. Their vision includes risk reduction, timely diagnosis, care and inclusion today, and cure tomorrow. ADI empowers local associations to advocate for dementia as a national priority, raises awareness, and encourages investment in dementia research. Our joint efforts aim to build sustainable support and advocacy for dementia care in rural areas, extending our mission to a global scale.
“Alzheimer's & Dementia Care Bridge and Alzheimer’s Pakistan’s collaboration is helping the local community understand Alzheimer’s and dementia, providing support to caregivers, and offering counseling services. Details of this remarkable work are included in this Progress Report
